The Zoo Gifts from Joyce blog is officially two weeks old today!! It's hard to say just how successful this project is because so few people are leaving comments, and the hit counter doesn't tell me who's using the links and who is just stopping by to see what it's all about. The feedback I have gotten, though, has been overwhelmingly positive, so I've decided to stick with it! I'd be honored if this website became a routine part of your day or week!
Does anyone have suggestions on how I could make this site even better? I've thought about including happy quotations, animal facts (for the Daily Quiz), and some small pictures mixed in with the links -- but would that be too distracting? or a welcome rest for the eyes? Or what about animal giveaways? Announcements of when I'll be posting roses and animals to the feed? Hyperlinks to other Zoo World resources?
If you haven't tried RapidLinkr yet, there are easy-to-follow instructions for this time-saving tool over on the right! A lot of people started using it this week, and all I've heard are happy remarks. :o)
The number one question I've been getting recently is, "Why is my zoo all messed up?" In every instance, it was because mates were not using Google Chrome as their browser. The programmers who create Zoo World develop the game using Chrome, so Chrome is where the game will be the most stable. Firefox is a good second choice as far as mainstream browsers, but Internet Explorer (any version) tends to make a mess of the game.

ReplyDeleteThis site is awesome, thank you for all your hard work. I like the clean/uncluttered look, keeps confusion to a minimum I think. Best of all Zoo post's do not take over my whole wall on FB, lol. Adding Juice would be a good addition, and I like the special event (tents) links. I do appreciate the "heads up" post on FB to serve as a little reminder though. :o)

ReplyDeleteThanks for all the great work. It is so much easier to collect money and other things. Zoo is so slow to visit zoo mates and collect money even if the treasure chests give more. With the price of animals now and the cost of breeding every little bit helps. I just collected the tents and will start on the other links for money, oak trees etc soon. Once more thank you for all your hard work and believe me it is appreciated.
