How to Use RapidLinkr
by Joyce Spear
First of all, in order to collect on links using RapidLinkr, you must be using Google Chrome as your browser. If necessary, you can download Chrome here:
[If Chrome is a new browser to you and you want more information before proceeding, do a search on “Google Chrome” and read up!
It is actually very easy to install and use. The above link will walk you through the process.]
The next thing you need to do is install an extension called FlashBlock.
[If you’re new to Chrome or have never worked with extensions, no worries – it’s easy! Just think of extensions as mini-programs attached to Chrome that you can turn on and off as you need them.
To see if you have any extensions, or to turn them on or off, you can access them by going to the wrench near the upper right corner of your screen, click on Tools, then on Extensions, and a tab will open up. Each listed extension will give you the options to “enable” (turn on) and “disable” (turn off).]
Download the FlashBlock extension here:
or here:
Once you’ve downloaded FlashBlock, here are the steps to follow each time you wish to collect on links:
1. Go to the following RapidLinkr page and save it to your Favorites:
2. Check that FlashBlock is enabled and all other extensions are disabled.
Remember: While you need FlashBlock to be enabled while collecting links, you must disable it before attempting to do other stuff like send gifts!
3. In another tab, go to the list of links you wish to collect on.
4. Highlight (do not click to open to claim your item yet) the first link of the note and then click FlashBlock icon to the left of the bookmark star.
5. Select “Always block flash on this site.” The FlashBlock F will have a stripe through it now.
6. Copy and paste no more than 50 links from your link list to the big box on the RapidLinkr tab. I personally recommend working with fewer links, more like 10 or 20, until you get used to the procedure. Remember, the more links you open at once, the harder your computer has to work and the greater possibility it will crash.
7. Click “Submit Links” under the big box.
8. A new box will open and you’ll see all your links, now in blue. Click the “Open Links” button underneath this box.
9. All the links will open in new tabs that will fly across the top of your screen. Allow them to circle until one of the Zoo World icons shows up on each tab.
10. Go to each tab and collect your money, then close the tab.
11. When you've clicked, claimed, and closed all your tabs and find yourself back at the RapidLinkr screen, just click on "Reset Links" to go back to the beginning.
12. Continue copying and pasting links and claiming your items until you are done.
If any part of these instructions are unclear to you, please let me know by leaving a comment. I'll respond as soon as I can.
Have fun!!
Thats really awesome Thanks A LOT :)
ReplyDeleteHi Joyce, I just read over your document on RapidLinkr. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this for us. Any 4th grader has better computer skills than I do but it is not something I can do much about. I will figure it out by using it. I will be coming to you with questions and again Thank You. Today is my birthday and I am 63 years young. My resume for life is outstanding and a computer is not going to stop me now. Wish me luck, Christy got me hooked up with Chrome and I am a happy camper these days. Wish me Luck!!
ReplyDeleteNancy, I will be happy to answer any questions you have to get started with RapidLinkr! I love your attitude and I'm sure NOTHING will stop you once you set your mind to learning something! I hope your birthday has been a happy one and I look forward to talking with you soon!
